Chapter 1 : Rational Numbers
In this chapter, students will learn the properties of real numbers, integers, whole numbers, rational numbers, and natural numbers - independent, associative, and closed. This chapter looks for rational numbers between two rational numbers, along with their characterization of zeros and rational numbers on the multiplication and number line. The elements of abstract identity (0) and qualitative identity (1) are also covered in this chapter. There are 2 exercises in this chapter that cover all the questions in the chapter.
Chapter 2 : Linear Equations in One Variable
The chapter on the variable, the linear equation, deals only with the linear expression in the variable. Here the chapter deals with equations with linear expressions in a single variable. Such equations are called linear equations in the forest variable. This chapter contains six exercises with a total of 65 questions. The chapter covers a variety of concepts - solving the equation of linear equations in a variable, some of its applications, generalizing the equations, and the term problems related to linear equations in the variable.
Chapter 3 : Understanding Quadrilaterals
CBSE Category Eight Mathematics Chapter Knowledge Quadrilateral - This is a simple curved shape with line segments called polygon shapes and curves do not look like polygon shapes. Types of polygon shapes - triangle, quadrilateral, pentagon, hexagon. A line segment that connects 2 non-consecutive vertices of a diagonal polygon shape. If all sides of the polygon shape are equal, it is the shape of the polygon daily. The sum of the exterior angles of any polygon shape is 360. A quadrilateral can be a quadrilateral, which occurs with every attempt to make it parallel.
Chapter 4 : Practical Geometry
The chapter on Practical Geometry covers the method of building a quadrilateral with different parameters. Chapter 5 consists of exercises, each dealing with different ways of building a quadrilateral. For example, the first exercise involves the construction of a quadrilateral when given four arms length and diagonal; Similarly, the second practice involves the construction of a quadrilateral when two diagonals and three sides are given. Therefore, by learning this lesson we can ensure that students have a good knowledge of all aspects of quadrilateral for next classes.
Chapter 5 : Data Handling
The collection of data that can be used for analysis is called data. In this chapter, students learn about organization and data representation. Managing data systematically is called data management. In this lesson, students will learn to graphically draw these figures in the form of a bar graph, double bar graph, pie chart and histogram. During this lesson, students will have an understanding of what is probable or not. Exercises 3 in this chapter deal with all the concepts in the chapter.
Chapter 6 : Squares and Square Roots
This chapter, Square and Square Roots, helps students learn about the square root of square numbers and square root of numbers. This chapter describes the properties of square numbers, interesting patterns that can be learned using square numbers, the square of a number, the Pythagorean triplets, searching for square roots by various methods, the square root of decimals, and more.
Chapter 7 : Cubes and Cube Roots
In the chapter Cubes and Cube Roots, students learn about a number of strategies for identifying number cubes and cube roots. The chapter discusses finding different numbers of cubes, some interesting patterns that can be learned using cubes, and cube sources. The chapter contains 2 exercises to help students understand the basics of Cubes and Cube Roots more deeply.
Chapter 8 : Comparing Quantities
The chapter on comparative size helps students understand the comparison between percentage growth and fall, market price, sales price, discount, and so on. This chapter deals with an important concept that can be used in day-to-day life and interest. Students will learn about general interest, compound interest calculation half yearly, quarterly, monthly or annual and more. This chapter has 3 exercises to help students learn the concept of comparative dimension.
Chapter 9 : Algebraic Expressions and Identities
This chapter on algebraic expressions and identity helps students understand the concepts in the chapter. The chapter discusses terms, factors, and modules related to algebraic expressions. This chapter also provides information on the basics of monomials, binomials and polynomials. Students learn the addition, subtraction and multiplication of algebraic expressions. The concept of identity is also included in the chapter. The exercises in chapter 5 cover all concepts in algebraic expressions and identities.
Chapter 10 : Visualising Solid Shapes
In this lesson, with the help of 3 exercises, students learn to visualize concrete shapes in different shapes. This chapter will be interesting to look at 3-D shapes, mapping the location around us, and getting to know faces, edges and corners. The chapter also discusses Euler's formula, which states that F + V - E = 2, where F is the vertices of V, and E is its application.
Chapter 11 : Mensuration
Students of lower classes may be aware of the area and circumference of various closed plane shapes such as triangles, rectangles, and circles. In this chapter, mensuration, students learn to solve problems related to perimeter and other plane closed data fields. Quadrilateral. . Eventually, students learn about the surface area and volume of various solid shapes, such as cubes, cubes, and cylinders. This chapter has a total of 4 exercises.
Chapter 12 : Exponents and Powers
In the chapters, exponents and powers, students learn a variety of things, such as forces involving negative exponents, laws of exponents, using exponents to express numbers in standard form, and comparing very large numbers to smaller numbers. Chapter 2 includes exercises, which help students learn about exporters and jurisdictions.
Chapter 13 : Direct and Inverse Proportions
This chapter contains 2 exercises that ask questions based on direct ratio and inverse ratio. The two quantities x and y are directly proportional to their relative values increasing (decreasing) at a constant rate. On the other hand, both quantities x and y are said to be inversely proportional to the proportional decrease in y (and vice versa) that the product of their values is constant.
Chapter 14 : Factorisation
In this lesson, students learn to factor. The topics covered in this chapter include natural numbers and algebraic expressions, by re-grouping words, and elements of identity. This chapter deals with the division of algebraic expressions, including dividing one monomial by another monomial, dividing a polynomial by a monomial. There are 4 exercises in this chapter.
Chapter 15 : Introduction to Graphs
In the chapter, Introduction to Graphs, students learn to represent different types of data with different types of graphs. Various graphs are bar graphs, pie graphs, line graphs and linear graphs. The lesson helps students learn to identify a point and coordinate it on a graph. There are a total of 3 exercises in the lesson that help students understand the concepts of graphs.
Chapter 16 : Playing with Numbers
So far, students have studied a wide variety of numbers, such as natural numbers, whole numbers, integers, and rational numbers. He may also have studied some of the most interesting features about finding these numbers, factors, coefficients and their relationship. Similarly, in this lesson, students can explore a wide range of numbers in detail. These ideas can help students justify division tests. This chapter has 2 exercises that cover the topic of playing with numbers.
